More Gratitude: Family Dinner & Prayer, Wk 10
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son…”
Read:
How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good He has done for me? … I will offer you a sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD.
Psalm 116:12,17
In America we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, so we return to gratitude. As people of faith, gratitude takes us into an intimate relationship with Christ, our Beloved Redeemer. Our Lord’s Heart, like that of any human gift-giver, is filled with anticipation for your response to His generosity. He wants to see your heart’s joy in His goodness. Thank Him for the beautiful things, and when you look deeper with the eyes of faith, you will find the peace that comes from thanking Him for the hard things, the painful things.

With your family, make your own little Litany of Thanksgiving, adding as many as you like. “For our family, we thank you.” “For our church, we thank you.” “For our home, we thank you.” “For your love, we thank you.” “For friends who care, we thank you.”
“Our Father, who art in heaven…”
